spline script

The script creates curves between two points, which fits the form from the experiment with the plastic tubes. The amount of curves can be controlled in the script. if the section of the spline between A and B is almost straight, the curve is created either on the lleft or on the right side of the line A-B. if the section is not straight, the curves are only created on the side of the spline. If the distance between A and B is smaller than 5, only one point is set and the created curve is a parabola. is the distance larger, there are three points creating the curve, its a curve degree 3.

the script creates pavillons, furniture or a bridge out of 2 curves from the spline script.

1. select 2 curves from the spline script 2. the script measures the smallest curvature radius on each curve and marks this points with locators also the start- and endpoint are marked with locators 3. in the middle of the line between the two minimum points is the peakpoint, it is moved up about 1/10 of the height. 4. the values which are entered in height 1 and height 2 are the distances the locators get moved down the values from roomheight1 and roomheight2 are the heights of the object in the start- and endpoint 5. the generatrix is the curve from min1 to the peak to min2 6. the peak curve is the curve from start to peak to end 7. the script creates a curve from min1 to start to min2 and a curve from min1 to end to min2 8. with the curves from step 5 - 7 a surface is created

if height1 or height 2 is smaller than 1,20 m the generatrix is created between min1 - point1 - peak - point2 - min2 and the peak point isn't moved up. So we get a surface, which can be used as a bench or a bar.

the script creates a structure. measures the angle between the normal of each object and the horizont the flattest object gets blendShape 1 - no structure is visible the steepest object gets blendShape 0 - the structure is clearly visible blendShapes of all other objects are between 0 and 1 depending on the angle

hole script

the script creates holes in the structure. spheres in the park mark the viewpoints. cylinders are arranged on the hull through the shitesurface script, so on each object is one cylinder. 1. the distance from each object on the hull to each sphere is measured. 2. the script also measures the angle between an object's normal and the midpoint of the closest sphere. 3. the angle controls the blendShape of the cylinder within an object. the angle which creates blendShape 1 can be entered in the script is the result equal to blendShape 1, or larger, the script repeats step 1 - 3 with the second closest sphere to have the posibility of holes on each side of the hull. the holes are created, with boole difference
