010 modelling:

To get some experience with maya and to improve your modelling skills, just start working.

Use different geometry-types, convert them into other, apply various tools and commands to acquire some basic knowledge.

Begin with a simple polygon and work on it. Sudivide, split, extrude, bevel, combine, merge, extract, ... until you are happy with your model.

Some architectural prototypes may emerge ...

The following projects can be seen as an example of such prototypes:
